Sunlight on Snow

Instead of the backlighting seen in Shadows on Snow, here we see strong front lighting, sending the shadows away from us. The dark background color is made of charged lighter colors into a dark base wash. This must be achieved while the first neutral dark wash is shiny wet. Light colors replace dark colors easily when charged into very wet paint but behave unpredictably if the first wash sits too long. Play with charging colors. The bright foreground is left paper-white except for the cool shadow and lone grasses.
